In razz poker, the same principles of stud apply, but the goal is to play a low hand. Unlike in stud, each player is not permitted to swap cards. Instead, the dealer will draw four cards, and then each player will receive a final draw.
Most poker variants require a deck of cards, which is usually a 52-card deck. Players are able to take new cards from the top of the deck, but only the dealer can take new cards from the front.
